The top left mural shown is a 10 foot by 62 foot
replica of a ‘50’s drive-in movie. The scene was designed to
give the visitor an illusion of entering an actual drive-in movie.
The 1950’s Cadillac showroom, top right, was created
as a three dimensional set. The roof section with it’s faux marble
also sports a Cadillac neon sign.
The lower left mural is a movie premier scene created from the grand old
days of Hollywood, complete with the red carpet, the crowds, the movie posters
and the Cadillac limousines. The great movie stars from the ‘40s &
‘50s showed up to the grand opening.
The lower right mural illustrates famous children’s nursery rhymes
which was created to enhance the vintage toy bicycles & wagons on display
at the Dauer Museum. The door to the witches gingerbread house is an entrance
to a mezzanine storage area cleverly disguised.
